I hope that you will enjoy my poems and stories as much as I enjoyed writing these.
About the author: +
I was born in Oldenburg,Lower Saxony,in the detached house which my grandfather had built.
He erected a small summerhouse in the garden, where my sister and I spent many happy hours. We also loved to put on plays, which were watched by the family.
Our orchard will forever remain in my memory, because I spent a lovely childhood trailing my little wagon along the path, collecting fallen apples, which were to be made into cider.
When on holiday as a young girl I always used to make notes in my diary. This habit of mine has continued all my life. I also wrote poetry in the peace of my room for some years.
I sang in the theatre choir and was hoping to make singing my career.
My interests are reading, writing, music and the computer.
The earliest date of my family ancestry is the year 1540. In one branch of our genealogy we find Dr. Ulrich Jasper Seetzen, the Orient explorer,1767-1811.
At the end of my education I entered the General Medical Council until my marriage.
I live in the Northwest of England with my husband, our grown- up
daughter and son.
Once again I am writing poetry, when certain occasions make me reach for my pen.
I am drawn to the realism of life. My poems and stories are expressing my feelings and memories: moments of pleasure, happiness, sorrow and sometimes anger. Writing about observations and experiences of life in all its colours may enable the reader to identify with some situations.
My work is influenced by the rich tapestry of life.
